Hawaii sucks anyways can't do anything fun and the things that are supposed to be fun are so restricted they are no longer fun....Avbug can have that Communist state..

Mahalo for not staying.

NW, your obit will likely forgo the word "ignorant," as it applies to those who simply did not understand the risk. You do, but chose to ignore it. Fair enough. But don't induce others to come along (on the cheap, no less!) out of a false sense of trust in your judgment. It's not fair to them and their heirs.

As for your posts...Well, you've found an audience. Enjoy it. You've already been run off of other web boards less tolerant of your so-called professionalism.

Pilots, be aware that free offers to ride/fly are not always in your best interest.

This mental pygmy is now recruiting private pilots with no experience to fly for him for free...an act which is both illegal and inordinately stupid. He's trying to get private pilots to fly a 172 to Dubai, presently...and believes a private pilot certificate with an instrument rating is enough...while NW Pilot will be collecting the money, he won't be paying the pilot.

We're asked to keep it professional, but it's hard to refer to NW Pilot without using the words "stupid" and "idiot" at some point in the post.

I have no clue? Guess the reporter stumbled on the book? They called me asking questions! NY, Times will be riding along on a flight soon on a pice they are doing on economy and weak us dollar.

NY Times already lost a reporter in the Chowdry accident at Front Range in Colorado. Can I buy a insurance policy on the next vict,,,, reporter.

Amazing how many idiots at that forum are willing to risk their lives and break some pretty serious FARs so that they can experience "adventure".

The mods over there seem pretty quick to defend that crap too. Lots of kool aid.

Although the private pilots would not be getting paid in cash, the flight time that they would acrue would legally be considered "compensation" in the legal eyes of the FAA and is therefore considered an operation contrary to the regulations.

Perhaps someone may want to pass that link (the one avbug posted) along to the Portland FSDO before this bonehead kills someone.

I'm sure the PPLs know that too - it's something that's hammered on from the beginning of flight training.

It's funny... the letters are blocked, but Propilotworld.com isn't. That's the site he was "invited" to leave.
