2005 Year End Data

CRJ-200

Airline (CC per BH) (Total BHr Cost) (CC per asm) (A/C Total cost pasm)

CMR $267 $1614 1.9 11.8

Skyw $275 $1558 1.7 9.8

ASA $160 $1050 1.1 7.3

CRJ-700

CMR $334 $1653 1.5 7.4

Skyw $317 $2058 1.4 9.0

ASA $241 $1238 1.0 5.1

numbers are just numbers. They may or may not be correct even when reported from their respective companies.

The skew in costs specifically at ASA means they either run a tight ship and Skywest inc was foolish to not give them flying or someone is working the numbers.

Anybody else get the fact that the restrictions in the DCA that our managment says is why we have to take a paycut don't start for approx. 5 YEARS!? Then the other restriction is in 8 yrs!

So if ASA's total costs are not in line in 4 yrs then we renegotiate to do our part to get the costs in line. But I would expect that all the other area's of waste and inefficiency at ASA are fixed as well before we do our part.

I'm going to call BS on some of those numbers. There is no way that the aircraft total cost pasm on a 200 at ASA is 7.3.

Source? What's included in these calculations? What are the average stage lengths? What airports are served, some have higher landing fees and gate fees than others?
