Has 2004/2005 been bad for corporate accidents.....or we still "average"? Just seems to me like A LOT of press about corporate crashes lately.

Anyone have some stats?

Most (if not all??) accidents last year were 135, not corporate. I believe the Part 91 Corporate jet operation still has the best safety record. Unfortunately, most people, especially the media, lump all "small" (as the media loves to say!) jets in the same category.

be safe!

Accidents

I read an article yesterday in International Aviantion publication that dealt with this subject. I believe it is the most recent edition, but am not for sure. It is on the front page.

Look at the NTSB website.

You can search and get totals.

Roughly, every year about 30 fatalities in 121, 70 in 135 and 91 and about 500 in GA. Year in and year out those have been the numbers. So I don't think this year is out of that norm.
