23, 24 & 25: The 3Gs.

Reason to love the airlines.

1. Not having to pack up your two kids in a mini van and drive 14 hours to Disney.

You're welcome America

Time magazine has descended into a toilet paper of a magazine, they've steadily lost readership and now rely on sensationalist "news", that and they're just another arm of the Democratic party. I wouldn't believe anything that rag says.

The first time I flew was in January of 1979. Eastern Airlines Boston to Orlando. I still have the ticket stub $179.00. It even says super saver on it.

It is now 32 years later and people still want that price! and you know what you can almost get it!

Sohing had to be cut if everyone wants to fly.

Spot on, my friend! How many other products or services have had virtually NO adjustments for inflation over their entire lifespan? My father found some old TWA time tables at a flea market last year. Guess how much it cost to fly from San Fran to NYC in 1948? $380! That would be over $3400 in today's dollars!!!!

Yeah, we're really sticking it to the traveling public. Freakin whiners.

This is why that SWA pilot is a hero to us all! 3Gs is the word!

For all you jerks who think Capt. Taylor is a hero here's what I wish for you:

You all marry a hot, sexy F/A who likes to socialize on her layovers. Then you can wonder what low life pilot is trying to scam his way into her panties. Because, face it, BOYS...there are a whole bunch of guys out on the line who are better looking, more athletic and better in the sack than YOU are.

Then, of course, there are the nimrods who will tell her, "I bet you're a FREAK in the bed, Honey."

Perhaps you can sleep well at night knowing the JTs in the world are working overtime to bed your sweetheart.

+1
More people can afford to travel by air than ever, even in this economy. It's also never been safer or more reliable. The so called good old days of air travel also meant you paid more for a ticket, were more likely to be in a crash and less likely to be on time.

A: computers. Cell phones. TVs. All better and much cheaper now.
Said the devil's advocate.
