I saw this today. Is it leagal for 2 non-military, non-aerobatic aircraft to depart the same runway in formation,one using one side the other on the other side approx 3 feet apart?
I thought this was only allowed by the military.
If anyone know where the reg is I would appreciate it.

Thanks for the replies. I too have done a flight of 2/3.....Lead has radios.....But never rolled together down the runway, nor landed together. Thought this had to be done separately and then meet up in the air. Thanks again
