2.5" Hail falling at KDFW..

I'm at Gate 1 at DAL as I type this. Big storm w/ tornado went just north of DAL. DAL had ground stop, they were preparing to evacuate pax to basement of terminal but didn't. Things are getting back to normal now (8 PM Friday night)

One of my company's non-RVSM Falcon 20's took off 10 minutes before that storm hit KADS enroute to KSTL. They flew right through that crap north of Dallas. I can't wait to get a job where I don't constantly get pressured to fly through stuff like that. On-demand freight can kiss my a$$.
