I was just reading an article in the Chicago Tribune about what they plan on doing about the 16 airplanes that are still stranded at Meigs. Just reading has to make one think, what if that was one of your airplanes. It makes my blood boil just thinking at that ignorant dictator running the show up there. Some of the solutions the mayor's office had were using the taxiway for takeoff or actually disassembling them and putting them on a barge. Ya that will be cheap. Not to mention the risk to the airplanes. What was the problem with giving notice to those people with their airplanes there, rather than the covert ops in the middle of the night destroying the runway. What an a$$hole!
Just my $.02.

Don't forget the employees

I heard the employees at Signature showed up for work that morning and discovered they were out of a job. Maybe they can be rangers at the Mayor's new park. Dailey sucks.

Hopefully one of Chicago's finest ambulance chasers will come to the rescue and file a suit on behalf of those damaged by the illegal operation. Maybe Daley got carried away by the war coverage and decided he needed to run a covert operation too!
