Whats the procedure for getting a seat [on CommutAir]? Is there a non-rev number or just show up and talk to an agent to fly standby?

With us, just show up; no need to list ahead of time. At the airports we serve, it's the Continental counter you want to look for.

How can you get past security?

Depends entirely on the airport. Even with my Part 121 airline ID, many airports won't let me through unless I stop at the ticket counter first and get a pass; there's no way to know until you get there. I'd imagine with a Part 135 ID, you'd be hassled even more; I'd budget enough time to go through the ticket counter first.

Hey, congrats! I'm glad you moved to better things :) I jumpseated to Hawaii 2 weeks ago to visit a friend. Mesa is Mesa, but in comparison to the way I was treated at Ameriflight, well you get the picture; I am extremely happy where I am now! I'll drop you a line next time I'm in STL.
