I am certain that is what the GeezerMeter has been established on. It's only important because the "Triple D's" are comming soon.

Formatted for my alpa friends:

Where as: After further review, the bill was signed late on December 13.

Where as: It says, "Those that turn 60 years of age on or after December 13 are permitted to continue employment."

Therefore be it resolved that the GeezerMeter should read:

1000 days, 10 hours, and 5 minutes remaing until 12:01am December 13, 2012.

Whata - There is someone on our seniority list with a 14 Dec 2012 mandatory retirement date. Not sure if that is accurate, but that's what it says anyway.
 
Yeah..... Great that he's leaving! :) I've been busting his chops telling him to take his hot wife and spend some time on the lake.

He's not biting just yet.

They call him "Lucky" for a reason. He was having his retirement party when Bush signed the bill!

I'll have to do some re-research. I became a pilot because I'm not a rocket surgeon. Hell, I'm phoning a friend on Monday. Standby.
 
You don't need research. Just because the bill is dated December 13th doesn't mean any commercial pilot was actually born that day.

"Ole Lucky" was born on December 14th. I think he was the very first airline pilot "saved."
