The ATP written Gleim has several different chapters/planes for weight & balance. From what I've heard, the 135 version of the test draws from different chapters/planes than does the 121 version. Can anyone out there confirm which planes are used for the 121 test??

Rtfq!

Read the first chapter of the book.

Chap 1.3 = ATP-121 is all chapters EXCEPT 5 and 11. In chapter 10, study only Moudules 7 through 11.

Thanx,

Now, just to get the book, study, & pass the test.

If I remember the 121 part tests you on the 727 and the 135 is on the B1900. It does not really matter which one you take it gets you the same end result.

Is it true that the 135 ATP written is only good in the 135/91 world whereas if you take and pass the 121 written it's good for 121 and 135/91?

Flying Illini,

To answer your question, no. It was designed for your convience as to which type of test to take dependent on what part of the industry you work. Once you get the ATP its good for any operation that requires it. Good Luck.
