For all you 121 guys and gals..

Does your airline give sim or ground training in upset recovery?

There is a good article on what happened to Emery flight 17 in Sacramento back in Feb of 2000 on aviationnow.com, and how they had received upset training. (although it didn't help their situation)

It says that the FAA is considering requiring upset training in 121 flying.. I'm curious how many airlines are actually doing it on their own.

Oh great, maybe they'll spend some more tax dollars on those great videos we all love to watch 15 times a year. I tell you, Hollywood could do it twice as entertaining, for half the cost.
