Anybody any idea which company this is? They list themselves as confidential (which 90 percent of the time it's not such a wonderful place to work for). You need to move at your own expense to their domiciles (which are not listed either, so I might live there already or don't even want to get close to the place).
You also need to be type rated (another sign of a cheap company). Is it freight or passengers?
Who knows?

It may be Amriflight in CA. I've seeen them look for 99, 1900 and 227 crews there. If you check their current opening on thier website they are looking for 1900 and 227 Capts. Its a good company from what I know. If I get tossed to the street here at MidAtlantic its one of the first places I'm going to go knocking. If your on the eastcoast they have runs to CVG out of ORF, RIC and ROA or something like that.

Actually, the need for a type rating is not becuase they are cheap, it's because guys are leaving to the majors so fast that they need to find pilots that can get through training relatively quick. An SA-227 or BE-1900 type rating on your certificate just says you made it through training with someone else so you probably can get through ours. AMF metro training is top notch; one week of ground, one week of sim, and two to three weeks of IOE, befoire they turn you loose. Good company to work for too, but it has to be the right fit for you.

Yep, it is Ameriflight. They are in need of SA227 Captains. The need is because of company growth, and pilots leaving for other companies. In addition, Ameriflight is finally expanding in the Caribbean at the newly formed base in San Juan, PR.

curious...

do they require a single pilot b1900 type, or is sic req'd ok?

I believe they want you to have a 1900 type, PIC. However, I'm pretty sure if you have a lot of 1900 experience, they would still be interested.
