Does any one have any information on when the TSA is supposed to open the web site for forgien pilots seeking initial training in aircraft over 12,500 max Takeoff.

Go to http://www.aopa.org/whatsnew/regulatory/foreign_student.html. I have been in touch with the DOJ and they are saying very little about when there web page will be up and running. Like me, you and everyone else are like mushrooms and will be kept in the dark untill they get there sh^t together on this issue. Good luck!!;)

Well, I made a call to the Flight Checks program today for an update, and they said they hope the final rule will the implemented around four to five weeks, and then they will be able to start doing the background checks.
