Flying at Ari-Ben

I instrusted at Ari-Ben Aviator for about 800 hours and was hired by Colgan a year and 3 months ago, only a little while longer and I will make Captain.

Ari-Ben Is a good school like most. Maintenance was frustrating at times. In all fairness, the school wanted to hire mechanics when I was there but had trouble finding A&P's.

The school was becoming much more professional between the years 2002 and 2005, and is probably now near its goal. Because the pay is low, you may want to set a goal of 500 hours total time with 300 or so multi and then go home and instruct or tow banners, just to have a job that is actually flying versus endless touch and goes.

Good luck,
SAAB Driver
