The company I work for is looking to send 100 people from FLL to LAS for a few days, and they would like me to look into chartering something. I went to The Charter Guide, and they had some suggestions, but the smallest airplane they listed was a ATA 737-800, and that has 160 seats.

Anyway, I have two questions. First, should I go through a broker, or is this something I can do on my own? Would a broker save me money?

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks

Frontier?

F9 A-318 = 114pax!

I think you could arrange it yourself. Go to frontierairlines.com, i think they have a charter link. If not, call 800.265.5505.

btw: FLL and LAS are already mainline cities...

Good Luck

AirTran does lots of charters with their 737-700's (holds 124 I think). You may want to check Miami Air as well. They are local and could be significantly less since they won't have to ferry an airplane around. They have B738's.

Thanks for the suggestion with AirTran, I will ad them to my list. I looked into Miamiair, but their 738's have something like 174 seats, which is way more than we need, and I can't see it being very comfortable for a 5 hour flight

Pace may still be doing Ad-Hoc charters in the -200s. Try them and see if they can give you a good quote. www.flypace.com There should be a link to the sales department.
