Would anybody know of any operators that I can use to charter 100 pax, bags, and concert equipment around the country and also into Canada? I also need this a/c to bring these 100 pax, their bags, and equipment from Asia to the States, then onto the mid-East. 25 of the seats I would like to be in a "first class" type configuration. Although preferrably the same a/c for the 2 segments (overseas and in North America) an a/c switch would also be possible. This info is needed ASAP...the charter is in mid-March and will last for a month.

Many thanks for any help.

Don't forget Gemini Air Cargo...... however, hauling the pax might be a problem though!

What about North American Airlines (I think that is their name)... They were flying that NG 737 (the real long one that looks d@amn near like a 757)... I was in Groton, CT on night a couple years back and they were unloading the "River Dance" people... lots of people and lots of stuff...

Not even sure if they are around anymore, but if they are that seemed like what you are looking for...

Hope this helps...

Might consider a Net-Jets BBJ. Have heard they are doing charters in their BBJs now to utilize them.. Don't have a Phone#,but suppose you could get from their website...www.netjets.com
Good Luck

In addition to the happenings with Hooters, Patriot/PACE airlines in Winston-Salem was upgrading a 733 for longer-haul charter work if I remember correctly (Not sure if the 733 was gonna have BBJ-type range though). This ship was on the ramp near TIMCOs hangers at INT for a while. Contact them on the web via Piedmont-Hawthorne Aviation.

I know that AA has a charter department at HDQ. If you are serious PM me and I can get you the contacts. Good luck.

thanks

Thanks everybody. All good suggestions. I'll try them all as we need to make a decision on this by the end of the week.

Yeah, I agree that the Asia-North America part is the hardest. Lots of alternatives during the domestic part.

Thanks again.

I can do it in a Cessna 172... but we may need a few trips. Also, all the flights will have to be considered "sightseeing" flights.

I got your PM and did some axing ...

PACE only has one aircraft that can do Asia, a 757 in Dallas. However, it is kitted with only 60 seats (Must be plush!). They recommended American Trans Air (ATA) who still does charters as well as scheduled.

North American has 757 and767 aircraft now. Try TransMeridan, they just picked up 757.

World airways has a MD11 with all first/business class seating. I believe in that config it has 130 seats

I used to work for a company that acquired a VIP 747SP (100 pax) that did just that kind of work. They used to do regular charters between Hong Kong and Las Vegas I still keep my contacts. PM me if you want.

Miamiair.com ,737-800, we have the only ETOPS 738's in the world. The others are all hot air we can do it right now. Our aircraft go around the world over and over again.
