I was going to mention Aces High also, but not sure that is the best song to go along with a video, unless it is a furball of a C-152s with nomex clad oxygen mask wearing Cessna jockies doing ACM :)

I don think its an aviation song, but there was that popular Romanian song with that really really gay (somehow Europeans are the only ones capable of that level of gayness) video of them in an airliner, dancing on the wings, etc.

Tree Top Flyer- Jimmy Buffet

It's a hidden soundtrack in his Banana Winds CD

It's very catchy.

The only problem is, it's about a smuggler's adventures....don't know if it fits what you're looking for.

But it's really catchy...did I say that already?

Actually from Stephen Stills or Crosby, Stills and Nash. The JB version is a cover.

Even though the titles and lyrics have nothing to do with flying, everytime I hear these two songs I keep thinking of aerobatics:

"Spirit of Radio" and "Red Barchetta" by Rush.

D-I-V-O-R-C-E .........Tammy Wynette :)

.

EastCoastLR35

I'm familiar with OAR's stuff, butcouldn't find 3am anywhere, could the track be called something else?

Thanks to all for all the replies... I'm having a lot of fun listening to all the suggestions! Haven't decided on anything yet though.

I've always enjoyed "Why Don't We Get Drunk [and screw]" by Jimmy Buffet.

The theme from the High and The Mighty was a pretty good tune. I think it was nominated for an Academy Award in 1954? God, I am really dating my self here. Really guys, I was just a small kid then.

About the time i lean the mixture back, i ask everyone if they want to listen to some laid back music. They usually say yes, and i pop it in. They get into it, and 10 minutes later someone asks, "What is this" To which i reply :

"Fire in the sky."

"......."

Someone usually ends up crying.
