1 OCT SWA App cutoff?

I saw a post here yeaterday that said SWA is not taking apps after 1 OCT. Then the post vanished. 1) Is there a cutoff? 2) Will they take the completed app. without the 3 recomendations, just to get the app on file? Any help wpolud be great.....

A friend of mind sent in his information a few months back without 1 of the letters of rec. They sent back his entire package with a letter that asked him to resubmit his app. when everything was in order.. Sorry for the bad news, but that is what I've heard first hand.. I'd put out an APB on all of your buds, who you have flown with!!

Don't know if it has changed but last year I sent in my app without the letters of recommendation and did not get it kicked back. I was advised by several friends who had been hired that you could take them to the interview.

Not only has the app not been kicked back, but I get update letters from the people department including the most recent one when they suspended interviews.

My advice is if you have the letters, send them in. If not send in the app and avoid the deadline and send the letters when/if you update. Just my 2 cents.

Can someone please confirm this 1 Oct cutoff date for apps as 100% true and not rumor.
Nothing is posted on the SWA Website about a cutoff date.
I saw the post the other day and I am not doubting the person who posted it(good guy)just hoping it is not true.
