Just out of curiosity, where is the offical memo that states this (can you post it please). Not that I doubt you I just want to see how it's actually worded, not someones version of how they think it's worded.
Well I have no idea what your reply has to do with my comment. I will say that you nor I weren't there and to state that there "was not a da*m thing wrong with that aircraft" is flat out conjecture on your part (and if you were in that aircraft staring out that window then I stand corrected)...

...yeah, that passenger could have been a commuting crewmember or a pilot going somewhere on vacation or a FED, FAM or military aviator, charter pilot... You'd also be surprised at how well versed some frequent fliers are when it comes to stuff like this. Take it seriously and check it...
Geez, who do so many pilots think that declaring an emergency is either humiliating, makes one less of a Captain/Pilot, shows inexperience or embarassing. ???? There are't any "score cards" that deduct points from a Captain when an emergency is declared.
There is no harm in declaring an...
I belive DL charges a yearly fee (for connection carriers) while currently UAL does not. Although according to your message you now say UAL does for express carriers. I don't see the big deal in this but perhaps I'm missing something (I'm tired and I've been working in the yard all...
I don't believe there is anything in the manual that states you cannot ride on a reposition flight...you just cannot ride on a maintenance ferry flight.
I'm not sure why management won't allow it since the CP's are management. I suspect you CAN ride on a repo flight just trying to figure out...
New Belguim make an "Abbey" which is quite tastey. ON another note a good "lawn mower" beer (great after you mow the lawn) is Charles Wells Banana Bread Beer. The Winking Lizard in CLE serves it.
UAL isn't pulling out because they don't have enough passsengers...it's just that thay don't have enough mainline planes (this according to the company!).
Yet oddly they continue to park 737's.
I applied a while ago and go the email that I wasn't qualified several days ago (I'm soon to be furloughed UAL). There wasn't a requirement for LTA. A friend told me that they probably are looking for pilots with very low time.
The person I know who is a retired blimp pilot said the pay is...
I commute and have been bumped off the JS twice on Skywest by...*gasp*...a SKYWEST pilot! This was recent (within the last 3 months).
Plus I would fully expect to get bumped off a UAX flight by their own pilots. And if that were not bad enough IF for some reason I ended up bumping a UAX...
