With the wind at your back, [email protected] is more realistic. Maybe [email protected]. With the wind in your face it's more like a 3000nm airplane @.80.
Don't plan on going above FL350 if you're heavy, and you will be.
You'll need at least 6500' of runway at MTOW at sea level, and you'll probably be at...
Remember when the union demanded the FE sit on the jumpseat in a 737 because it was too dangerous to have less than 3 pilots in the cockpit? Flying a jet across the ocean with less than 3 engines was too dangerous? An all glass cockpit was too dangerous? Using an iPad for approach plates is...
You sound like a bunch of foolish, control freak pilots trying to control something that is way beyond your grasp. Airliners went from 3 pilot cockpits to 2 pilot cockpits. There will eventually be 1 pilot in the cockpit and then none. Just a "systems analyst" making $10 an hour while some...
They don't care about resetting your base month as long as you did not act as PIC during your grace month. I would stop flying as PIC after 6 months if I planned on taking a few months off.
All flights conducted as PIC in your grace month would be illegal and subject to violation. Complete the training prior to the last day of your grace month or only fly as SIC during your grace month.
A mouse looked through the crack in the wall to see the farmer and his wife open a package. "What food might this contain?" the mouse wondered. He was devastated to discover it was a mousetrap.
Retreating to the farmyard, the mouse proclaimed the warning: "There is a mousetrap in the house...
Yeah, ya'll are right, it has nothing to do with crappy airline service. Why pay $300 for a round trip ticket when you can pay $5000/hr on a corporate jet? The oil speculators aren't the only ones mocking the airlines. Your best (former)customers have been doing it for years.
That's exactly my point. How do you think most Netjets customers traveled the country before Netjets existed? That's right- on the airlines, probably sitting in first class. You lost your bread and butter and they're never coming back. You can raise fares all you want but you'll only lose...
Hey moron, most of those pax at Netjets used to be YOUR everyday 121 pax. In fact, they used to buy first class tickets. I wonder why they choose to pay more for Netjets?
Don't worry, there won't be any furloughs at Delta. They have millions of 777's on firm order and they can't cancel any of them. Those airplanes are staffed at 500 pilots per airplane so Delta will be hiring for the next millenium.
