In a strong crosswind flaps 22 is a much easier landing. If the airplane is really light 45 seems to be more stable. At CHQ I would guess 90% of our landings are 22.
Wow, so much untrue nonsense spread around. The crew arrived at 1030 AM the day before. Not with your XJT buddies. The crew member involved took a different shuttle to the airport, never saw or was with his crew. The van driver did not call the police. Hotel management did.
The captain in...
I have flown with Rob (the captain) several times. He is an absolute stand up guy. There is much more to this story, accusations where made to the company from 3rd parties well before he became involved. If he had the ability to handle this as a crew I'm sure he would have but the situation was...
The purpose of those aircraft was to feed the MKE Frontier operation. I'm not privy to the load factor numbers but I can say we were not flying around empty airplanes. That is several thousand passengers a day that won't be connecting in MKE to ride an Airbus or 190 down to where ever.
If they were losing so much money why would the IBT lawsuit even be a factor? Without the lawsuit a $25 million loss would have been acceptable? I don't know if they were profitable or not but I do know that the company can feed us any numbers they want plus or minus.
100+ ground personal in MKE alone. Not including all the outstations people that are losing their jobs.
You guys can return to your high fiveing and chest bumping.....
You are also not eligible for the Teamsters Mastercard. By only offering it to active Teamster members they are able to grant generous interest rates. Points can also be exchanged for valuable merchandise!
I don't think you have to join the IBT union, you can for go union membership and not receive any union protections. It is however a union shop, you are required to pay your union dues or your fired.
Reminds me of that scene from "Goodfellas" where the mob boss is buying into that guys restaurant....
What's he saying Henry? He wants me to take a piece of the joint?
What do I know about running an airline?
In reality TPG knows everything about running an airline. Unfortunately their...
Nonsensical? I would meet your new overlords before making that conclusion. Quite possibly a warm fuzzy bunch of good old boys from the South. May I introduce the "Texas Pacific Group". If they are your 3rd party investors don't worry they have your best interests at heart.
