Using the provided payscales, Add between $25,000 and $30,000 for the new FDP pay for a CL-350 Captain. That's what I figure I'll earn based on last year's flying.. So an over 14 year CL-350 Captain is around $205,000 before adding any extended days (approx $1,400/day), holiday pay (same), OT...
Multiple issues in Asia, especially China, negatively affect biz aviation. Corruption and government control are huge issues. And within Asia, there is not robust business aviation infrastructure, including lack of FBO support and suitable airports. The rest of the world is not like the US...
LOL.. The dumbest post I've seen in a while. And that's saying a lot! You aren't the sharpest tool in the shed, are ya boy?
And FWIW, I voted for Trump. And I'm smart enough to see that you ain't.
It's actually going to be interesting to watch. It will be the example of what happens when you eliminate the Union. I figure it's like the Titanic. No big deal in the beginning. Then the water starts seeping in... more, more, more... then everyone realizes they're in trouble... then...
What Bjtdrvr said!! Bye bye to any "fairness," solid work rules, scope, seniority etc!! Not to mention the fact that you'd be a part of the ONLY pilot group in history to decertify your own Union. Not as bad as a scab... but pretty close.
I've actually heard talk of creating a list of names...
I know because, for years, NJA management attempted to increase workload, decrease rest, reduced QOL etc. The ONLY reason the pilot group was able to secure QOL improvements, pay increases, 100 crew bases, 4 weeks of vacation, the ability to "fatigue" without repercussions, legitimate...
As a long time NJA pilot, I wholeheartedly agree with the above. If you decertify, you are in trouble. Your working conditions will deteriorate, your pay will be at the whims of management, favoritism will run rampant, you'll be constantly afraid of losing your job, etc. etc. Building a...
As an 18 year NetJets pilot, I can adamantly state that if you all want a decent contract and to improve anything, you need a Union. I'm not a big Union guy. But I know that unions are needed in some industries. This is one of them. If anyone thinks that for one minute, things will get more...
I'm in the USA. A few years ago a pilot from NetJets Europe showed me a chart of European rest rules. I liked it but never got a copy. Could someone from Europe send me any information about the required rest rules for commercial pilots, especially corporate?
Thanks
I'm not thinking that they would want to mess with us, other than minutae. I mean, they have a great deal with us on this current CBA. And it lasts until 2016. If the company starts reporting 100s of millions in profit, which it is projected to do, there's won't be an argument for concessions.
