Screw you. We wouldn't be in this position if your side hadn't tried to shove an inferior PBS system down our throats. This TA would have been done before the Pinnacle agreement.
First off, that's why you have multiple bid sheets. Neither system lets you know before the close what you will hold for sure. Wouldn't you like to have a couple of back up strategies if you don't get what you think you will hold? Why are you guys so opposed to having back up bid sheets...
Because they can't raise the bottom of the window that is published with the bid packet. They can only lower it further if they want. Therefor, if you want max days off, they can't change anything that would cause you to end up with fewer days off.
Sounds like you guys really don't understand...
The irony here is that it looks like the LXJT group are going to be the sellouts now. They are pushing a PBS system that management wants because it is more effecient and now they are going to negotiate lower rates for 70-90 seat flying. Oh the irony. Of course that group has negotiated...
Doesn't matter why they are in BK. Now we have to compete with them. Add Republic, Mesa, and Gojets, and it becomes pretty obvious that we are already at the top of the pile.
Let the ExpressJet pilots continue with their hissy fit. It will work out better for LASA pilots as we get the 900s that are coming. I hope they keep holding out for more.
