Because he can get XJT for a firesale. XJT is bleeding cash and may last another 18 months at this rate. He's doing them a favor but all of these chest thumping XJT guys are to stupid to realize it. Blow the deal now and he'll just buy you in bankruptcy down the road. (Personally I hope he does...
Word on the street is that JA told the XJT MEC that if they insist on the 3-way integration that he will drop the deal. I also heard that after a few beers in Vegas the XJT guys true colors came out and that they think they're gonna come in and take over. If that's the case then I hope the deal...
When I upgraded to Captain years ago I thought I had really accomplished something until I saw her wearing 4 stripes. (And yes I have flown with her and it was stressful.)
I've been getting billed and I've been paying the bills without giving it much thought and I'm glad I'm not furloughed. But I have to admit that I've been fed up with ALPA ever since I found out that National was thinking about trying to tap into our 401k contributions because they pissed off...

To all of you crew members who smoke in non-smoking rooms in our hotels...I hope you get lung cancer! I just read an e-mail from our MEC stating that we are about to get booted from one of our nicest hotels because of dipsh!ts smoking in non-smoking rooms. This isn't the first time this has...
Too bad this story didn't make all of the news outlets...I guess you have to kill or hurt someone to get that kind of coverage. (or land in the Hudson)
I didn't catch his name because I was floored by the audacity this guy had to pass himself off as an expert. (And I may have been distracted by Megyn Kelly's hotness )
According to a former corporate pilot that Fox news just had on, regional pilot training is not as thorough as mainline and the reason they don't do stall training is because it scares some people. Stuff like this really pisses me off. I'm sure many of us will be answering a lot of questions...
It's my understanding that we were already short of a/c due to ramp damage and unavailable parts before the grounding SNAFU ever happened. Skywest was covering for us. I wouldn't get too worried just yet.
