Please PM me the letter they sent out. We did not receive it on the FO side. A lot of us flew with SD and would like to know what management is saying.
The proper terminology is “Floppy Flexjet”
You have the Flexjet name but under the surface you have Kenn’s Flight Opts method of running a company with the good old boys.
If the company computers have been hacked as IT said and our information was taken, maybe they should talk to Frank Woelke since it seems that he is now in possession of it and is using it.
Who is this guy Frank Woelke who sent me a letter?
He never introduced himself or told me anything about himself, never said how he got my mailing information.
He just wants me to put my career in his hands so that he can decide what is in my best interest.
So Frank, tell me About yourself...
I think the company knows all too well as to the reason for the fatigue calls. They are constantly pushing the max duty day and then giving min rest. A few days of that and you get fatigued. It is no secret and should come as no surprise you can only push so far until things stop.
The best one I saw was during the first round of negotiations before the first contract.
A guy just finished school on a new aircraft did his first flight on IOE then took off his tie. Rented a car and drove home from TEB to the midwest.
He started his new job a week later on the same type of...
Was there not something regarding not losing a year when you calculate pay rates, so you actually stay the same.
Only is you go to fixed schedule 8/7 7/7 do you get a cut in pay.
I think 12 hours is a fair work day for what I get paid.
Nobody is asked to carry my azz. That is why we have the Red Label program, they are all volunteers and are paid to work 14+ hours a day. They get paid twice as much as me why shouldn't they work twice as long?
I usually get tired at around 11 or 12 hours then I pull the plug and sleep in until late morning making sure I am well rested. If I require 20 hours off to be safe the next day I take it and just tell them in the e mail when to put me back on duty.
just a simple one line e mail and you can...
One thing I know for sure is that there are going to be a lot of pi$$ed off pilots :angryfire going to work tomorrow and in the coming days and weeks.
Just in time for the holiday season.
How will the ruling be handed down?
Will he just e mail the finished contract to the company and Union?
if so I assume that it will be posted and sent out right away since it is his decision.
I am sure a lot of questions will arise after it is out and has been read.
If Kenn wins in this arbitration he will then lose in the long term.
If the pilots don't see a pay raise there will be an exodus of pilots and it will be even harder to recruit new pilots considering the pay scales and working conditions. It will be a slow bleed for the company and the already...
Anymore info about the pilots and when are the next classes scheduled?
I just read that some of the regionals are paying $60K to start with flow through to the majors.
I am surprised we are even getting any applicants knowing they are looking at 10+ years as a Lear or Phenom FO.
I have to agree with shanes on this one, I have been noticing nothing but a " I don't give a $hit anymore" attitude. since the merger and the delays of the negotiations.
If this goes to the arbitrator and he decides I see no change in attitude. If by some miracle they are able to negotiate an...
Almost every pilot I have recently flown with has the" I don't give a $hit" attitude now.
They are just going through the motions.
Not a good image for a company which tries to sell superior service.
