Folks
How much do civilian rotor wing guys typically make?
For instance:
1. Oil Rig Pilot
2. Corporate
3. New York City charter guys who fly around the city and out to the Hamptons
I have thought about this equation for years. King Air 350's used in fractional ownership.
Start up with 105 orders and wants to be attached to a jet provider
I have thought for years about how well the King Air would work in certain areas of the country.
Oh well. Now we will see...
Are there any Fracs currently flying King Airs? I don't recall seeing anyone out on the road.
Next question: Why hasn't someone tried to establish a small fractional with this type of airplane?
Make no mistake about it. The reason that people have jobs at NJA, The Former NJI and EJM is because Mr. Santulli took on the risk to try something new and start the fractional business. He is the hero behind this business.
To RTS: Thanks a bunch and Merry Christmas wherever you are!
If you worked at a carrier that had progressive training what type of checkrides were incorporated into this?
What type of manuevers approaches and possibly BS was thrown at a pilot on a sim check or LOE ?
Thanks
Pilots
Need a nationwide PAC. One that will help every pilot in this country with everything from Checkrides, Medicals, FAR's to conducting proper drug testing.
We need to look at what Doctors have done for themselves with the AMA. Doctors don't get dicked with half as much as we do...
1. Can or could a CVR be used to get a pilot in trouble in the United States of America?
2. Can either the FAA or a company ever use a CVR for this purpose?
3. Would the pilot win the court case if this were to happen?
Does anyone really know how many Retirements we will see at the Majors over the next 5 years or so?
I am reading over and over and over again about the future pilot shortage that we will have.
Is there any truth to this?
