SWA/Airtran pilot integration thoughts, what will the new list look like?

Very true ATLplt. I think some guys are just stirring the pot anyway. I may have just bitten off on it. All I can say is, the party over here is just going to get bigger. Let's make sure it get's better!

SWA/Airtran pilot integration thoughts, what will the new list look like?

OK, I will concede this much. Driving to work will be awesome! You are correct, they M/A committees and lawyers will have the say and we will all move on.

SWA/Airtran pilot integration thoughts, what will the new list look like?

ATLplt- The reason I asked this is because Kwick has this attitude of entitlement that he believes he should leapfrog over people with more seniority than he has. I personally wrote letters of rec. for 3 of my friends at AT to come to SWA. People willing to go to the bottom of our list just to...

SWA/Airtran pilot integration thoughts, what will the new list look like?

Coming up on 9 years actually. I live in Atlanta as well and was torn between "BIG D" and SWA. They both had much to offer and were completely different. One thing I knew for sure, was every one of my friends that went to SWA was a REAL friend. The ones that went to Delta never talked to me...

SWA/Airtran pilot integration thoughts, what will the new list look like?

I am guessing Kwick is a senior FO at AT. I am a senior FO at SWA. I don't pretend to have this figured out though. Let me ask you this Kwick. Was Airtran your first choice? I just had a very young, somewhat senior, captain there tell me how he came to Airtran to get his time and leave and...

    Question about SWA/AirTran deal

Personally, I don't think he ever intended for the Frontier thing to happen. He only gave SWAPA and FAPA six hours to negotiate for the rest of their careers. I do think Gary got what he wanted out of the deal though.

    Steve Chase elected SWAPA President!!

NO, Chase on here is not actually named Chase like Steve Chase is. :) Both good guys though!

What Airtran brings to the table

This reminds of that blog that one of your FO's had at nowheremag.com. He made me laugh so hard my whole body ached for a week. I hope I get to fly with that guy!

What Airtran brings to the table

As a SWA guy in Atlanta, I can't wait to bring you guys on! I know we will come to a fair agreement because we have to. I am floating 3 feet in the air thinking about driving to work. I haven't done that in 11 years!

    2009 W2's

Last pay stub showed 157K. 819 hours of Block. 8th year pay Where did it all go?

    SWA pilots ?

True, but because of it's size it would not be as efficient on the short hauls.

Message from US Airways concerning 190 fleet

Remember that the Midwest and F9 deals means RAH has to actually pay for their own fuel as opposed to the fee per departure plan they have with the other companies. If gas goes back up they are in trouble.

    SWAPA TA Failure and downgrades

Seriously, it got voted down and you are only manifesting anger here. Go to work, do your job and vote again next time. Venting about what has happened will not change anything. You and I are about the same seniority (2002) so I understand your vote but really, give it a rest already.

    LUV Halts All Growth

The only sure fire way for us to start service to ATL is for me to move away. We'd announce it the next day for sure!

    Here we go LUV!!!

Pipe- You are a hostage to your anger. You need to let it go before your health declines. What was = the PAST. What is = the PRESENT Which one do you live in? You don't have to like SWA. Really, you don't.

And now for some good news...

BIG thanks from me too! I was only charged once but the funny thing was she had a typo (in ATL) and instead of being $30 with taxes and all, she charged me $3000. Luckily she caught it and fixed it. Thanks again for all the rides to MDW!
