I interviewed just under 2 months ago and got the call for a class date about a month ago, original date Dec 5th. It's already been confirmed by HR that my class date is pushed back (as was the Nov 14th class). So, if you were given a Dec class date, now it's verified. Still up in the air...
I'm fairly certain you can't just plug in an adapter, and have ANR. The premise behind ANR is an extra speaker inside each earcup (as well as a microphone to sense the noise you want to cancel), with hardware which creates and emanates a 180 degree out of phase noise signal through the extra...
Can you even get the plastic ones anymore? Not that they were worth anything, they didn't fly for crap. I've still got my original metal "hey Matt, see if you can dodge these" Jarts from my childhood. Might have to break em out again soon........that was a fun game.
If you can show me the reg the FAA would use to keep that 280tt guy out of the right seat............
The FAA has no say over that. If he's got the multi-commercial, and Pinnacle decides to hire him at 280, he'll be in the right seat.
Sure, it's just like instructing on an intro flight in a 172 where you talk them through the takeoff and landing, just in a larger plane. Kidding, of course.........
It's good to be having a civil discussion again..........I am, in fact on my way to the airlines. Just got my class date with PSA yesterday. The King Air thing is good, just too sporadic (being a contract rate and all), and I need a steady income that doesn't involve flight instructing right...
If you could tell me how it's questionable, I'd agree with you. But I've met all the requirements per the regs on SIC, including simulated engine failure at V1, number of required landings, etc. There's nothing questionable about it..........it's a 2 person airplane, I've met the SIC...
Difference is, this guy is a friend of mine. So it's not like I'm spending my time searching out and then making fun of random people. While I will agree Brandon is a little overzealous and somewhat the stereotypical Riddle grad, doesn't mean it's productive for others to point that out.
So with a screenname like MeatWallet, I guess you're the "catcher" huh? And, since you're clearly not up to date on aircraft types.........a B-300 is a 2 pilot airplane, unless the PIC has a single pilot type (you gonna argue the need for a type rating on a B-300 with me too?). Just so...
FWIW, this guy used to be an instructor at the flight school I work at. He worked his tail off networking and flying to get where he is. Word on the street is he's also an excellent pilot. I know him, and he's actually a pretty cool guy, who's really excited about flying, including getting an...
Yeah, I've got the sim at 10pm Tues night, then panel interview/written on Wed morning. And you are correct, I am local to Charlotte.........though living in Rock Hill right now. Might as well be a suburb of Charlotte, really...........Good luck to you on Mon/Tues!
Mon/Tues? I just got a call today for an interview next Tues/Wed. I know nothing about how they schedule interviews, but is it possible your interview is actually Tues/Wed like mine?
You've gotta look at the statistics used for the study. I'm no expert, but I had a few statistics analysis classes in college (Psychology degree, gathering and analyzing statistical evidence is what we do). The study compared the top .055% of male pilots with the top .0014% of female pilots...
