Where do the bonus's come from? Everything is pretty much tied to the contract with the Mainline Carriers isn't it?? Plus everything is based on a fixed cost when it comes to contract flying. Seems to me the bonus will be smoke and mirrors.

Unless United gets the CS300 on the cheap why would you want a plane that is pretty much a Airbus 319? The C-Series is trying to muscle in on a market that already has Boeing and Airbus all up in it.

That's why we have 40 in class and flow that atleast 3 have to go a month. We are hearing the want more gone. They don't want 80-90k a year dash captains.

You might want to look at Piedmont. Announcement probably by end of this week. Things are about to blow up. With only 300 pilots and a full flow you might find yourself in a good spot if you get in NOW.
All these 900's and now 700's at PSA. Pool of good pilots have dried up! Upgrades will drop to under 2 years and then you'll start seeing Green on Green in the cockpit. This will come back and haunt American Airlines when it come to safety at the Regionals. Mark my words.......
General you are right about the Majors. However I've had many of my friends that have been furloughed 2-3 times (Some at Delta, Some twice at US Airways and United) tell me that I was lucky to have stayed at Piedmont. The majors had such a bumpy ride for over 10 years. I understand the dust...
