Hey guys and gals..

Someone has asked several times what the near term retirement numbers may look like at SWA..

SO..I got out the ole SWAPA senority list and heres what i came up with..

I decided to see how long it would take for 10% of the list to be retired other wise i could spend all day sorting this thing out..

397 will be forced to retire before the end of Dec 2006.

The industry average for medical retirements is about 1% of the pilot force per year so i figure another 40 per year..So figure around 160 for loss of medical..

Total loss of 557 between now and end of Dec 2006..

This of course is a guess and doesnt take into account what will happen if the stock price hits $30 again..Or calling in "rich"..
