(probabily with loans) in something you should have mastered in the 5th grade.

So whats the common theme here? The federal government is incompetent and incapable of performing tasks outside the very limited scope the Constitution allows. Student loans and airline security are not included.

You measure competence by metrics applicable only to the private sector. The success of any government program is measured only by the metric of continued growth of government. It matters not if security is effective or if loans have any discernible return on capital, it only matters if the programs involved continue the growth of the entity involved.

Are any of the agencies that are responsible for performing functions which fall outside the scope of governmental responsibility defined in the constitution shrinking in size? The answer of course is no and therefore, the programs are perfectly competent and capable in the context of their actual purpose. A purpose which is always about the growth of this organism we call a bureaucracy.

Come to the dark side kf4; resistance is futile. Embrace this ever growing, ever encumbering monstrosity of growth we call government. Join with the huddled masses that have this response to the question "How do you like your government?" ...

Wow.. Just wow...

You posted a grammatical embarrassment of a post while ripping on a guy for getting a "useless degree" in writing. oh irony.

In addition, you added a cut for using loans? hahaha Ya, What a ****************************** that guy is for not having a rich parent and working and maybe getting loans as he makes his way through school to do something he loves!

Thanks for the laugh.

O no not the grammar. You busted me on sh1t nobody cares about. You got the point what's a few commas and quotes placed in various positions going to do?

For example. I address you by your proper name in a letter

Mr. Douschebag Fvckstien or

mr douschebag fvckstein.

What's the diff? So I put or didn't put capitals and dots in the correct places. You still know I'm addressing you Mr. Douschebag Fvuckstein.

Plus I was posting from an iPhone so typing that crap on this keyboard is a pain in the balls anyway.

But hey good for you caring about something nobody really gives a sh1t about that was made up by some knuckleheads in the 15 or 16 century. You should be proud that your a master of a skill made obsolete 30 years ago by spell and grammar check. Thank you bill gates.

There it is. Not defending the TSA or anything but why is almost every time we see stuff like this there is an underlying motive. This person could care less about fixing a failed system.

Plus WTF, a degree in creative writing. Great your paying for a joke degree (probabily with loans) in something you should have mastered in the 5th grade. What's your masters thesis? "What I did on my summer vacation"?

I know the article was long and there weren't any pictures, so I'm not surprised you missed the following paragraph:

"I feared I wouldn't be accepted into any of the seven programs to which I'd applied and dreaded being stranded in airport purgatory. But I was lucky: The first acceptance came in January, with an offer of a full scholarship. Several more followed."

O good. Happy to know this person won't be hitting the job market with debt. That's good because all they are qualified to do with it is the exact same job at the TSA or stock shelves at Walmart.

Maybe if more people would study something useful like math, science, engineering or business the supply of jobs that are actually careers not jobs would stay in this country and not migrate to countries where the younger generation isn't scared to study something challenging.

And yes I stopped reading at "creative writing major". All I needed to know wrt article motivation wise.

The good part about a free market is that your influence on peoples' chosen majors stop when you run out of money. Either spending it on goods they produce afterwards or loaning it for their education beforehand.

Other than that, your and my opinion on what people major in is completely irrelevant.

Me: I helped my uncle, Jack, off a horse.

You: i helped my uncle jack off a horse

Grammar matters.
