I would imagine applicants will get called this week. AA said time from initial contact to class will be approximately 2 months and the first class is beginning of Dec. So they are actually a little behind, I think this week.

I got one of those immediately before the interview invite. Things went really fast from there to reporting for class (non-pilot).

Irrelevant. UPS pays $39 an hour first year, and they are some of the richest guys in sky.

There's a reason for that. The kind of flying they do takes years off your life.

This is true...My point was simply, if someone lets 12 months of probation pay get in the way of 10/20/30 years of a career, might as well stop applying now.
