Not a 74, it's the other jet with 3 engines....

I'm trying to figure out what 3rd engine they're talking about. Even on the 727 it was generally the #2 that would stall. The only place they could "see sparks" would be on the R aft of wing where you'd often see APU torching.

That said, all MC's birds are 2 engine...
 
What charter operator is still using 727's? What is this story from 1982?? Find it hard to believe the Chicago Bulls are flying on some old beat up 727.
