Totally agree. Only recognizable wreckage in Buffalo was the CAL logo on the tail. CAL spokesmen and management couldn't say "Colgan" more times in the next several months than if they were getting $1000 every time they said it. One of the most significant cost savings in using regional carriers is the insurance liability costs are separate. The families of the Buffalo accident fought to change this and sued CAL and went so far as to win the right to look at mainline pilots training and records to prove CAL knowledge of different levels of safety but were finally circumvented with BK and the endless rope-a-dope. 18 are still pushing.Says Delta on the jet. Passengers bought tickets on Delta. Headline says Delta. Maybe they should change the paint scheme to say "weak pilot group gave away flying" to clarify for the flying public. That may be a little long to fit on the side of a jet. Anyhoo....looks like Delta ran one off a runway in Houston.
70 passengers onboard. What kind of plane was it?
No kidding. I bet CAL wished the tail had burned up with the rest of the wreckage.
This is the consequence of being a weak pilot group. Delta pilots voted for this in their last contract, so they own this due to their weakness.
