“It doesn’t get any cooler than this,” Smisek said today as he posed for photos and signed autographs at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport...
Autographs? Somebody actually wanted Smisek's autograph? WTF?

"We are the world’s largest airline, but we don’t care about that,” he said. “We want to become the world’s leading airline.”

That is terrifying statement in SO many ways. Keep it in mind when ALPA dumps DAL scope for the sheep to BAH at in a few weeks.

I bet both pilots were 64 "and a half".

Hope it was worth it.

"...What's it like to fly on Boeing's new 787 Dreamliner? The folks can tell you..."

1. When it's delayed or canceled because of weather, it's gonna suck.

2. When it's delayed or canceled because of crew rest, it's gonna suck.

3. When it's delayed or canceled because it breaks, it's gonna suck.

When you're irritated with all of the above, along with crappy customer service, it's gonna suck...

JUST like every other fleet in the system.

Someone hanging the future on a fleet is like a liberal holding on to this hope and change crapola! IMHO

Just sayin'

I read one review that said Jeffy was sitting in E+ reading (hiding behind) the newspaper when people boarding. He had the chance to "personally great every passenger on that airplane..." Wonder if he took it?

The captain is one of the biggest dopes here - just over 63. The FO is a scab and a fleet manager - turning 65 early next year.

Wow, a combined 2.5 years of service for all that training. Real smart!

But aren't they both part of the Phriend of Phred Program that would warrant something like that?

Since when can two over 60 pilots fly a 121 revenue flight together. I was under the impresion that you could not have an over 60 Capt. and FO

For sure!

Don't shoot the messenger, that was just what I saw on the crew list.
