If you already submitted the app and you want to go back and change some things, can you withdrawal your app and then start all over?

I don't understand why these major airlines, that need all these people, cannot get their job offers to make sense.

For example, I have about 5000 ME jet, but I don't qualify for USAir...because they want "Minimum Qualifications
- 1500 hours of combined turboprop and turbojet flight time"
I have 0 turboprop hours, so I am not qualified, according to the person(s) that wrote this ad... it says I need both jet AND turboprop flight time.

USAir, please hire a Technical Writer...

"1500 hours of combined turboprop and turbojet flight time"

Agreed. Very poorly written.

I believe the turboprop addition/combo is for the Piedmont guys.

They have hired quite a few Piedmont pilots and they only have turboprop time. They have no turbojet time.

There is no combination requirement. They just accept both.

I think you're reading too much into it. It doesn't say you need both; it says the total of both types of time (different guys have different amounts of one OR both) must be a certain minimum. Even the way it's writen, you clearly satisfy that requirement:

In your case,... 5000 + 0 = 5000 combined turboprop and turbojet time, which is still way more than the minimum "1500 combined turboprop and turbojet flight time."

I don't think it's unclear at all, but if you don't want to apply there because you don't like their writing style, then knock yourself out. I'm sure that will teach them a lesson! :)

How are you not qualified?

5000 turbojet + 0 turboprop = >1500 combined turboprop and turbojet flight time

So I was pushing up against the 48 hour window to complete my app before they kick you out. I also could not get the supervisor, salary, etc input under the job section. Now when I pull up the online app, it shows as a pdf file. I can't find a way to edit it. Is it seriously impossible to edit the app without withdrawing and resubmitting the entire thing?
