Anyone else in the postponed 6/18 NK class? Just wondering if anyone has any valid ideas as to when we can expect a date. SF says hopefully beginning of July? Insight?

Dang... Hope I'm in that July group, not sure how many we're supposed to be in the 6/18 class, thank for the info

Even if it's the June 18 class, did you already give notice to the current employer? I would have waited all the way until June 3 (exactly 2 weeks prior to last day June 17) before I gave notice. If your class has been postponed, what now? I only hope you didn't give your notice yesterday. Did Spirit give you a greater than 2 week notice of postponement? I hope you can get in the next class, but if there's only one class of 4 each in July and August, I'd hate to see you unemployed until September! That is, unless you're financially well prepared for this kinda thing, in which case, enjoy a 3 month vacation with some family.

I never give notice, that's an old school rule. I have learned over the years at several airlines that giving notice could cost you vacation time, or sick time, i.e.. they keep it. I use it all up, then resign once I am actually sitting in class at the new airline. Keeps me from losing a paycheck.

Dunno... I had close to 10k hrs, 2-3k turbine pic, 5 types; incl a320.... Consider myself very fortunate....
