wow. I would usually expect this of a legacy.

An airline has apologised after one of its flight attendants threatened to detain a plane full of passengers.
The threat came when an inflight entertainment system belonging to Alaska Airlines went missing on a flight from Miami to Seattle on Tuesday morning.

However, if the airline had noted the identity of passengers who rented the device, the mix-up would never have happened.

Writer and technology consultant Jeff Reifman, who was a passenger on the flight, wrote about the incident on his blog.

Dragging every other airline down is hardly holding up a bar.

"winning" a race to the bottom isn't something to be particularly proud of.

Are we sure this wasn't Fubi??? This sounds exactly like something Fubi would do!!!

Well did they get the device back?

Because they collectively caved on their pay and benefits. At least SWA held the bar. A drop of light in the (ALPA)darkness......

Wow, one post with three strikeouts! Talk about shooting for the stars...and missing. Complete ignorance on:

1) Alaska Airlines and Kasher Award.
2) SWA and their history
3) ALPA and expectations

I wonder if the webmeister gives awards for this kind of stupidity?
