Don't know yet, but I interviewed as one of the first and my background checks were completed fairly quickly so probably the 4th or 18th of Jan.
SWA will first be sending the welcome package 14 days prior to startdate and I will most likely first be able to get my hands on set package a week prior to startdate because I am travelling from overseas.

Mixture-Prop-Throttles!!

Seriously though-
Don't sweat it. It really is the Gerber School for Aviation. (spoon fed- get it?)

It pretty much HAS to be, considering YOU already paid 8 grand for a 737 TYPE RATING. If you really need spoon fed training at that point at SWA, you're not cut for this business.

Thanks, the ones I have stumbled upon either seem dated or incomplete. I remember seeing a version on one of the crewbase sites (Do those still exist) I have found one of them on the wayback timemachine:
http://web.archive.org/web/20050312230645/http://www.bwipilotbase.com/PDF_files/SWA_Memory_Items.pdf
But that one is from 2004.

If they're from '04, then they are about 10 generations wrong.

We change this stuff on a regular basis, whether it needs it or not. Even if you get the current one today, it'll most likely be obsolete by the time you start class.

Studying for a PC is like being a new hire again! Always new stuff to memorize, sometimes old stuff that hasn't been required for while, but is once again.

Enjoy the holidays. You'll have plenty of time to digest this stuff in class.

It helps, and is smart, to be spun up BEFORE you go into the game. Advise
him to wait until he gets to training? WHY not be READY? Is this the 'modern' way you approach your profession? Not good boys. Not good.
