You guys really need to contact someone at the UFC so you can get into the Octagon.

Please look at facts everyone (on BOTH sides). The 717 is a SHORT to MEDIUM range airplane, MD designed the airplane to replace the DC9-30 series which fits the same category, which everyone knows, Delta (Northwest) still flies to this day (and are finally replacing). It is perfectly served in a REGIONAL capacity, much better then a 1st or 2nd generation RJ. That's it. We all know the data (or should). Calling this airplane a "Regional" airplane is NOT false. Implying that it should pay as an RJ (50-100 seat), is however. I'm don't fly the 71 anymore so I don't have a personal interest here, however a more accurate indicator of pay for the airplane (if that's what's being argued here), would be Delta.
