So B6 invited the wife down for the first few days of training and orientation. Do most people bring there spouses. I will have to buy her a ticket (non blue city) and she has a limited number of vaction days. I am wondering wether most spouses find the experience worth the trip. Thanks in advance

It's fun. There is a party they throw for you, and they will put your wife in the sim. Whether it's worth it, your call.

Taking. I didn't take my wife with me and was glad. Sounds similar to your story, she works and a tough commute on JetBlue to get there, wasn't worth her vacation days. Some folks that lived closer did go, your wife wouldn't be the only one there.

I didnt bring my wife, but was happy she didnt come. It would have been boring for her to sit through all the orientation presentations and stuff just to get to fly the sim for 10 mins. Save the vacation days for when you are stuck with random Tues, Wed, Thurs off during reserve!

Last month, some guy brought his boyfriend.

Yeah, heard that. On the wrong day none the less. To each there own however, anyone here that has problems with that kind of stuff is working at the wrong company, let alone the wrong industry. I'm not gay, but I could care less what peoples preferences are in life, if it makes you happy, so be it.

Brought my wife she loved it. Lots... Lots of Blue Juice is flowin. I believe her comment was wow it's like they are trying to sell the job to you. If you can work the schedule I thought it was worth it.
