Just curious, how many hours do you have in the Airbus? I've never flown it myself, so I really don't know anything about it.
Reason I'm asking is I bid it and am curious about different opinions.

Golf and acupuncture treatments? I'm not sure who's encharge of following industry trends over at Airbus, but stuffing as many pax into a cabin as possible is what the airlines want. Not a room devoted to a bar. At least here in the US.

you'll like it - i was on the 737 for 17 years - been on the airbus for 10
but when you go to school on your 330 - just don't try to compare any system to a 767 - dump everything boeing
and one last thing - NEVER EVER let the computers try and think for you - and you'll never have a problem

It is a good thing then that they are targeting the market correctly because it has been a very long time since the US market has been buying airplanes in any significant numbers.

Airbus cant even get the A350XWB(or whatever the hell its called) going. I HIGHLY doubt they will get this thing going by 2050 unless they start next year.

Thanks, yours seems to be the common sentiment among pilots that have flown it. It sounds like any glass cockpit that as long as you don't forget your still flying the airplane it's fine. I'm always blown away when I hear people critisize it that have never flown it.

Haven't heard anything about the A350 being behind yet, perhaps you are thinking of the way behind schedule B-787? Amazing how far behind the 787 is.

Per the new TSA regs in 2050..ALL bags will have to checked.....at $25 a pop. Maybe $100 adjusted for inflation

It's a great idea to give people more of the experience of flight-
Original 747 designs had a panoramic window in the front of the nose below the pilots for 1st class passengers- I still think that would have sold really well- we all know the view out of the front is a 1000x better than out the side.
Then again so did MD in the early 90's

The idea was abandoned when beancounters added up the cost of cleaning seat cushions.

And can you imagine the first birdstrike or a catIII, all the sunrises and sets, and thunderstorms, between layers and snowstorms.
Still think it's a good idea though. They'd respect our view a little more-
I say get to work on a whole millennium falcon like bubble- nothing but clear even under their feet!
