Is there anywhere on OurASA where I can find all the flights that were cx for a given day and the reason. I see the Real Time performance tab, but the cx's in there are just maint, Wx, ect. I want to see where and how many flights are CX on a given day for lack of crews. I know first hand that it is happening, but would like to see where it shows up......

Click on "Real Time Performance" then click on "cancels".
 
however, those numbers are manipulated somewhat. For instance, if there is a trip that is uncovered due to lack of crew, then suddenly an aircraft goes into mtc...they will swap the uncovered trip to the a/c in mtc - then it will show as a mtc cancel.

Its not really an attempt to hide anything...but it doesn't always tell the whole story.

I can recall several instances where I showed up to a flight that was already delayed 2 hours due to lack of crew, the airplane was in MX, and was later coded as MX delay. I don't imagine that happens too often.
 
They are spending a dollar to save 75 cents. Here we go again. They look at their projections on paper and they figure 2 mules will plow the farm; but after the plowing is done the mules are spent for the next day's work. It's hard to convince these guys of the realities of line flying. They really don't care either. Let's make them care.

Let's make sure those scheduled reduced rest overnights receive the performance enhancement they deserve.

We cannot reward them for scheduling these overnights. None of them will leave on time. I also feel tired ALOT these days.
 
3 legs before, and 4 legs after a scheduled RR overnight is NOT going to fly!
 
Don't we lose min day pay if we call in fatigued?

Say you fly 3 of the 5 legs then decide it just wouldn't be safe to continue and call fatigued...how does that affect pay for the day?
 
How about 7 legs followed by 8 hours and 15 minutes or so of rest? That was in there. Along with an 18 hour 18 leg four day.
 
The open time is hilarious! There are about 10 4 days over every weekend, all between 15-16 hrs max! Good luck getting someone to take those, and poor, poor reserves!!!

Regrettably, our contract "allows" many, many abuses due to the piss poor language with loopholes you can drive a truck through.

The company uses professional lawyers who specialize in $crewing labor. We have a community college law grad.

But doesnt Great ALPA dues help pay for a "GREAT" lawyer? Hmmm, maybe ALPA aint that great....
