We are looking into using Aviation Software Solutions, Aircraft Performance Group (APG), Flyincg, and Ultranav. Any pro and con opinions or other options?

I see APG has an iPhone app, any one using this?

Also, Ultra-Nav seems to be running 4X the cost of the others....... worth it?

Thanks

Ever look at Arinc?

APG and your own W&B built right into your flightplan.

Also can add EAPIS, ETS mileage and SMS Risk Analysis.

Have yet to find better service than Arinc. Right out of the box they were within about 100lbs of fuel on 10+hr legs. Put together a package in a few minutes and email all the above to yourself, open and save it on an iPad and you are good to go.

They also have a mobile site that works well on the iPhone.

I believe our subscription is the "Platinum" one whatever that is. Costs are negotiable.

Good Luck.

Arinc is great but is a little more than we need. We mostly operate domestic and use fltplan for our flight plans and arinc for PDC and graphical weather. With not using them for flight planning it would be an extra step to go log on and do a W&B.

We would rather have a stand-alone system that we can install on the EFB's.

...I use an excel spreadsheet that looks just like eflite's but is totally free...

I concure with the excel spreadsheet. Takes a few minutes to set up then put it on the iPad. I even send a email with the completed W&B attachment so a copy is left behind pre-departure.

With ARINC for $10,000 a year you get; flight planning, APIS, international handling, W & B, SMS, messaging to and from the aircraft, filling of flight plans, help with slots, runway analysis, graphical TFR’s, weather, etc, etc, etc. Don’t worry abound pennies when it comes to safety and making your job easy.
