Flying is picking up with the coming busy season and also as the economy picks up. Having said that don't look for any hiring until we reach our previous levels of flying before the economy down turn.

From what I have been hearing, July was the first signs of a turnaround. I have it on good information that are are at least 7-8 fewere furloughs at CS than first announced. Also seems like some of the management companies are starting to pick up airplanes again.

At the very least things are starting to move...a little.

Stil...its a big hole to climb out of.

The bookings look pretty weak for the Labor Day holiday weekend. I'd say we have a long, long way to go before we can be assured that flying will pick up during the "busy season."

Will there be some interviewing soon? Those 100 bases are looking nice.

Nope. System-wide, flying is still down. Although things have "picked-up" slightly due to seasonal traffic -- this is only temporary.

When you say "interviewing soon" you mean sometime in the next 5 years, then I would have to say probably. If you mean sometime in the next 2 years, then I would have to say probably not.

Yes, the 100 bases are "nice."
