We agreed to an additional day so the bid can include the reduced flying line numbers. The response to that program has been pretty good- hopefully good enough!!
Motch, give me a call when you get back in the States!

Potty (aka the T in JTK)

Heard Mgmt. asked ALPA for a couple days extension on the bid results... wondering if their numbers aren't quite coming together like they thought they would... d'oh!

I'd be furious if CALALPA extends the bid results. A contract is a contract and if they're sticking it to us.....I'm happy to stick it to them when I can.

Surely you made this post while your head was still in your rear most orifice? Reminds me of when XJT pilots voted down a guaranteed .5 hours of pay a few years ago over "principle".

So if another day to run it means they realize they don't have to furlough a couple of guys, it's not worth it on principle? I think there are a whole lot of other things we can be "sticking it" to them without granting an extra day or two in the hopes of keeping pilots working in this economy.

And no, I'm not on the chopping block.

Looks like there is about 87% of the original 12% that were put into their 2nd choice 50% positions if their standing bid was not the triple, 756 EWR or the 737 GUM. What also is interesting is that there are 45% of the folks that bid BES at 95% or less. MOst of that 45% people got it while the rest stuck at 80% or less at BES did not.

Where are you seeing this?
I can't find anything showing the bid being out~

motch

Sean Roth,
The bid shows you going to Guam. Have you ever been out there? I'm considering trading and am doing some research.

Thanks

Yeah, I am going out there to chase all the young boys so I can give them backrubs.

I am glad that I got that. Besides Mr. Triple, I would love to rub your back.
