Flew on VA last week for my first time. Very nice.

At the front ticket counter, there were more than enough happy employees to take care of the passengers.

Boarding a full plane went smooth.

The safety brief was different...the coach pax had animated safety video, and the first class pax had an FA doing a live demo.

Cabin lighting was blue up top, and pink along the windows. The colors did not change as I thought they were to change colors. And the overhead reading lights remained on. I could not turn it off.

The FAs were doing there beverage service, and had to make quick stops to hand out the "paid for food". We were in the 3rd row of coach and it took forever to get served. No big deal.

My TV, didnt work for the first hour, then it finally worked. Not sure what happened there. The seat to seat chat did not work either.

Baggage claim was quick.

Overall, very good flight. Wife liked it much better than United (she hates that United piano music).
