I'm just curious what other people's experience has been. I have been on medical leave since July and I no longer have pass privileges. Has anyone had much luck getting a cabin jump seat with just a company ID? I'm not even sure this is legal, but if it is I'm willing to give it a try.

You have to be an able crew member, no medical no JS because you are not able to act as a pilot w/out a medical. Plus the company has by now wiped you out of Cass.

Well I'm not sure if you're even supposed to have your ID if you're not an active pilot but that's all you need to ride in the back. I'm sure if you explain your situation the crew will understand, if they care in the first place. Try SW.

You can jumpseat without a medical... however the deets are best discussed with your jumpseat committee..
