I cant wait to see the '9' in person.!
Oh really? ASA got DC-9's. Cool, I can't wait to see 'em either.
Bout time they got a cool plane.
I'm all my years at ASA, the coolest jet they ever had was the BAE146.
He probably was calling it a 9 in a joking manner.I am hoping he was kidding about calling it a "9". Referring to other carriers doing so.
I like the earlier poster suggestion condemning anyone who evenly jokingly calls it "the 9"
It's going to be N131EV, flight 9957 YMX-BTV-ATL. No ETA yet.
IIRC it has to do with taxes...The first point of entry into the USA, and where you clear...not sure just what I seem to remember. All about cost, plus short close flight from Montreal.I think it's retarded that the customs stop is required in Burlington, VT on the way to ATL International Airport. Am I missing something here?
Almost as cool as the Republic guys that refer to the E170 as "The Mini Bus"!!!
Calling it the "9" is better than calling it the 90-seater. The only way a CRJ-900 can have 90 seats is if you have 86 coach seats (the most it can have) and you count all the crew seats. But if you count the cockpit J/S it would be 91 seats and you are STILL WRONG.
76 seats people!!
The flight home has been filed. Just popped up on Flightaware. For all those that said ASA missed the 900 boat, that theory comes to an end tonight!![]()
Are these all the "next Gen" models now? They are nicer inside with the bigger windows and overhead bins.
