Yes, they continue to furlough and they are trying to get others to accept an Early Out (buyout) offer. I think you will see a lot of senior FOs take this offer.

Reserves at Comair are not reserves in the true sense of the word. It has long been Comair's policy that if there is one unused reserve at the end of the day, they are overstaffed.

I don't think I've ever seen an airline furlough and NOT abuse reserve crews. I think its just the nature of the beast and I try not to think about it.

Both. In two years, we've lost 48% of our peak block hours. Down from @ 176 aircraft to 113 this year. From @ 1900 pilots to @ 1150, with more furloughs expected (although not yet announced).

You just spelled out Comair's longtime experience requirements. Your alive, you can talk-your hired. Way to many 100 hour kids flying around CVG! Let em all go back and fly the C172 again and get some real experience. Then come back!
